Our business partner, Julie Baker told me about an interesting online company called TheFunded.com.
It is fascinating with the insurgence of social networking and the free flow of information, how you can voice your opinion about any topic, anytime, in a heart beat. The issue, (that I find scary) is the effect these random opinions can have on a company or organization, like venture funds that are discussed at TheFunded.com.
Just a thought to ponder on a sunny day!

It will be interesting to see what happens in the long run with thefunded.com. Here is an interesting article written by Alyssa Royse founder of Just Cause It and posted on her Start Her Up blog. She makes a strong case that putting your funding out there is an “APO” Accidental Public Offering and an SEC violation. More to come on this one I’m sure. Thanks Gina!
