Selcom Group offers numerous solutions depending upon client requirements, from assembly and industrialization like Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), to complete design and product development, including Original Design Manufacturing (ODM). The Chicago Office is responsible for technical and commercial support to customers located in North America. The office is mainly focused on ODM activities for Home Appliances and Automotive.
The Head of Sales for North America will take on the task of growing market share by generating profitable sales in new and existing accounts. Highly professional sales skills are essential, and a track record of accomplishment in similar growth campaigns will be a major advantage. Deep experience 5-10 years in electronics sales is essential.
The Sales Manager is expected to fully understand the prospective customer’s needs and be able to develop and manage multiple opportunities within each account. The position requires time in corporate headquarters as well as time in face-to-face customer meetings in their territory.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A minimum 5-10 years in electronics sales
A proven record of success in field sales
Substantial applicable work experience and formal training
Specialist skills and knowledge and the ability to use them to define standards and specifications
The ability to seek and integrate diverse perspectives, improving decision making and increasing innovation
