Regional Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth and build a sales organization for our Fleet Training Services.

We are seeking someone who has:
• Created and managed a high performing sales team
• Been a high performing sales person themselves
• Successfully coached their team to higher levels of performance
• A background in “solutions-based” sales
• Shown the ability to build long term account relationships
• Sold regionally with a tangible “book of success/business”
• Demonstrated that they are driven; habitually delivered results and love selling.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Hire and manage a team of outside Account Executives and an inside sales coordinator
• Create compensation plans for the sales organization
• Develop sales strategies and processes
• Develop a sales training program for the sales organization
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts
• Develop account plans for key clients to maximize sales revenue
• Prepare proposals, quote pricing and provide information, with regard to sales and delivery
• Negotiate service and sales contracts with new clients
• Create weekly sales reports
• Develop sales forecasts

Requirements:
• Evidence of consistently exceeding sales quotas
• Must have 8-10 years minimum experience with sales as an account executive and 5 years as a sales manager
• Experience with a “solutions-based” sales process
• Demonstrated success working with “C” level decision makers
• Previous experience selling B2B or to government based clientele
• Must be passionate about our company mission and networking within the business community

Preferred skills/abilities:
• Experience selling training services and materials
• Experience introducing new products and entering new markets
• Managed a national sales organization with a tangible “book of success/business”
• Managed a remote sales team
