Employee Relations Manager

As the Employee Relations Manager, you will be the primary contact for employees in this employee centered culture. Partnering with the Management Team, the Employee Care Department and throughout the organization to manage all employee-related matters.

As a liaison between the business line and HR you will assess human resource needs in areas such as employment, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and career development and will assist in developing and implementing solutions to meet those needs. You will manage the delivery of HR programs and services to the business unit supported, implementing them in a way that ensures that the program’s goals are accomplished while meeting the business unit’s needs. You will need to understand the business - its structure, culture and how internal and external trends influence the organization, and you will assess the strengths and weaknesses of the current workforce in relation to current and future business needs.

In this role you will need to interface effectively with professionals at all levels. You’ll demonstrate your excellent communication skills, strategic thinking and planning ability, strong business acumen, and the ability to function in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

We are looking for a minimum or 5 years experience in Human Resources/Employee Relations. Bachelors degree in HR and/or PHR or equivalent experience. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to maintain confidentiality, highly organized and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. You must have knowledge of state and federal employment law but we are not looking for an “HR police” mentality.

Experience in technical industry and/or professional services would be ideal.
