Brad Johnson, newest board member- Kinetix Living
Brad is the Chief Administrative Officer and CFO of Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI). REI is the largest consumer cooperative in the country with $1.5 billion in annual sales and 3.5 million active members. REI is also one of only five companies included as one of the “100 Best Companies to Work For” since it was conceived in the early 1980s.
Brad has spent over 25 years in retail working for strong brands. In addition to his experience at REI, he served as Chief Administrative Officer and CFO of Lands’ End and CFO of Cornerstone Brands and Wilsons Leather. He began his retail career with Talbots. Over the course of his career his responsibilities have included Logistics, Human Resources, Information Technology, Operations, Real Estate, Investor Relations, Legal, Purchasing, Strategy and Finance.
Brad received a B.A from Utah State University and an MBA from the University of Utah where he was honored as a Deans’ Scholar. He serves on the Ahnu Footwear Board and as Treasurer of the National Forest Foundation. He serves on Advisory Boards for Utah State University and Brigham Young University.
He loves to hike, bike and just about anything else in the outdoors with his wife, Rosie, and their eight children.
